Manfred Yuen

Founder, Groundwork

Architect Manfred Yuen first founded Groundwork in London in 2007 to explore experimental architecture, urban and landscape design. The studio was later developed into architecture firm Groundwork Architects + Associates in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Some of his notable awards include the 40 under 40 FA Emerging Chinese Architects in 2019 and the Next Generation Architects, Backstage Architecture, Italy in 2010. He also teaches architectural design and history at Kingston University, London and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
